DOES GOD EXIST-REALISATION OF GOD

I would start this blog in a simple and naïve manner. ‘Because He is not seen, He doesn’t exist’, is the primary argument of doubters. Then, air too is. All-pervading, but unseen, can be only felt. God is omnipresent and omniscient. Let us take another example, I know that you have five fingers on your hand. In the darkness of the night, I ask you how many fingers you have on your hand. You reply, ‘five’, which even I know. But, to taunt you, I say, ‘I don’t believe, as I can’t see’. Then your logical answer would be, ‘let the light come, you can see’. To see God, one has to have the inner Light aglow. This incident also throws light on doubting atheists and real atheists, the meaning is not difficult to seek as the terms denote. These doubting atheists and real atheists fight among themselves on one hand; and with the theists on the other. In spite of all these, God exists. He is there.

Surprisingly, but truly, it is the atheists, who turn stronger theists than born theists. All it takes for this metamorphosis is one simple but landmark positive occurrence, and God knows better. Who else can create miracles?

It is not difficult to see and realise God. What all it takes is belief, at first. Supported by devotion, steadfastness, practicing of dharma and karma, and understanding the subtle difference between Sudharma and Svadharma.

The path to realisation of God, passes through three seamlessly integrated phases – YOU ARE SOMEWHERE, YOU ARE EVERYWHERE, YOU ARE INSIDE ME.

YOU ARE SOMEWHERE: I don’t know where He is, though I strongly believe, He exists. I am not sure where His abode is, in the sky, in the oceans, in the fire, in the air, in the cosmos, in the space, in the forests, on the tops of Himalayas. I don’t know. But He does exist. This also is known as the phase of ‘tvam kutrachit asi’.

YOU ARE EVERYWHERE: From the confusion of ‘I don’t know exactly where He is, though I am sure He exists’, I pass on to the phase, ‘I realise, He is everywhere’. He is omnipresent. He is there in life, in the five elements, everywhere around me. I see Him, I perceive Him, I talk with Him as I am in deep meditation and with unflinching faith in Him. This is also known as the phase of ‘tvam sarvatra asi’.

YOU ARE INSIDE ME: I am God. I represent Him. He lives in me. He guides me. This is supreme enlightenment, the ultimate of realisation. This is possible through spiritual asceticism and profound practice. I find no difference between me and God. We are one and the same. I am relieved of all my karmas and attain His feet and merge in Him. This is eternal bliss. Nirvana. This is also known as the phase of ‘tvam mama antah: asi
